Remnant Christian Network Cumbria
–Our Identity
About us
Remnant Christian Network (RCN) is an interdenominational and non-denominational international ministry to the body of Christ with the mandate of restoring the apostolic order of Christianity as it was in the days of the first generation of apostles of Jesus Christ and thereby heralding the coming of the Lord Jesus Christ at this end of the age.
RCN is headquartered in Makurdi, Benue State, Nigeria, with apostolic centres and mission outreaches across Africa, North America, and Europe.
In Cumbria, we continue in following the apostles’ doctrine, just as the early Christians did in Acts 2:46–47. We gather regularly in prayer, in the study of the Word, and in the breaking of Bread with one another, expressing our fellowship in ways that align with our terrain.
Carlisle — the urban capital of Cumbria — is a border city with a rich history, and we recognise its spiritual significance, hence the need to take our place as Watchmen and Gatekeepers. This conviction forms a core aspect of our activities and prayer focus.
“Violence shall no more be heard in thy land, wasting nor destruction within thy borders; but thou shalt call thy walls Salvation, and thy gates Praise.” (Isaiah 60:18)
“I have set watchmen upon thy walls, O Jerusalem, which shall never hold their peace day nor night: ye that make mention of the LORD, keep not silence, and give him no rest, till he establish, and till he make Jerusalem a praise in the earth.” (Isaiah 62:6-7)
Our vision
Our vision is to take this prayer enterprise across the landscape until all nations behold the glory of God and His reality is established in the hearts of humanity.
